To my more adrenaline inspired friends

lucian-maquerade-circleKOn an subject which is entirely unrelated to business, I thought you might get a scary chuckle out of this clip below…especially on the heels of our (highly promoted) 5th Place finish in the horse race a few  months ago..this video just brings my ego right back in line..but seriously, if you are interested in the training we do in the desert for these endurance races (see below) and if not, you can still enjoy a good chuckle on me…so stunned I was speechless..which as many of you know is not a common situation..

So here we are riding along at a pretty good pace..talking about rattle snakes and how reactive my horse is on the left and then in a split second…we got something in the bushes (on the left) and I’m on the ground..full on head plant caught on video…Houston we got a problem…..endurance riding in the open desert. I took a major horseback riding crash..and now you get to see it..ugly and all and your worst nightmare as a horse person…lesson learned….ride “in the moment”

This is the video clip prior to the crash…..just riding along having a great time doing desensitization work and open desert riding and then the crash (above)

This is the beginning of the ride training for the day..we covered only 8 miles but all of it was at pace on the back of a long 17 mile ride the day before in 107 degree temps

If you like them drop me a line..I am practicing with the GO PRO..great camera..fun stuff..I’ll take the feedback and critique..and the ego busting just goes with the terrain

Enjoy the ride..
