BEAUTIFUL ride yesterday morning with our trainer and friend Katie Scaccia. Nothing better than 80 degree weather, a 7.5 mph ride pace and my boy Masquerade who was on fire and led half the ride. He’s on the left, ears up, and forward on full alert with his little brother Sandman on the right.
We stopped to let a hiker take our picture and then of course, I asked her to send it to me. Learning later that she was from Ohio and we grew up down the road from one another..such a small world. On the way far center left horizon you can barely see the tip of the rooftop of the Granite trailhead in Scottsdale. We were about half way through a long meandering semi circle ride that would take us on a trail to the right of this photo and back to that trailhead. The photo was so nice, I couldn’t help but post it.
The desert in the Spring is incredibly vibrant and really grows on you as the seasons unfold. Have a nice week and enjoy the ride, this was a good one 🙂
